Sea Turtle Watercolor Workshop

 I am thrilled to share with you my next workshop from my award winning book, Makana is a Gift, we will be painting this Sea Turtle!The outline is available in the video once you reproduce it.

I must mention this a workshop aimed for people with a bit of experience with watercolor, but everyone is welcome to paint along with me, we will be learning how to use masking fluid.

For this video you will need:​

​

  • Watercolors:  Lemon Yellow, Cadmium Yellow, Crimson Alizarin, Ultramarine, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber and Black.

  • Watercolor paper. I recommend 300 gr, I will be using Fabriano

  • Masking fluid or white paint (Acrylic or gouache works good, but I'll be using Masking fluid)) 

  • Watercolor brushes, a big, medium and a small (number 8, 4 and 2 works great, but feel free to use your favorite brushes)

  • A mixing palette

  • Kitchen paper

  • Water jar to clean up the brushes
